In 2021, Social Status launched new collaborations with Nike, including the Free Lunch Dunk and the return of the iconic Penny Hardaway signature shoe. Inspired by inner-city experiences and the Mon View Heights community where founder James Whitner was raised, the campaign featured a powerful short film series created by the Turner Brothers, blending storytelling and style to bring the meaning behind the sneakers to life.
